Abstract: Polymeric materials made from natural compounds can improve the biocompatibility of biomaterials. Natural compounds such as bile acids can be used in the design and preparation of a variety of new polymers after chemical modifications. These materials range from self-healing hydrogels, degradable elastomers with shape-memory properties to hard dental restauration composites. They have shown promising potential for biomedical and pharmaceutical applications. We have also adopted green chemistry approaches in the synthesis and modification of polymers using enzymes as catalysts.

 

摘要:用天然产物研发制备新型高分子材料,可满足对生物医用材料的在生物相容性方面的特别需求。天然产物经过化学修饰,可制备一系列高分子材料,包括自修复功能水凝胶、形状记忆材料、药物缓释体系和齿科复合树脂等等。这些以天然产物为原料设计合成的新型材料具有生物相容性好、绿色环保、性能优良等特点,显示了良好的应用前景。我们也研发使用了以酶催化剂来合成修饰高分子的绿色化学新方法。
