Congratulations to SJTU Students on Winning Two Grand Prizes in the 29th Shanghai University Students' Outstanding Graduation Thesis (Design) Competition in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering

On June 9, the 29th Shanghai University Students' Outstanding Graduation Thesis (Design) Competition in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering was held at Shanghai University of Engineering Science. Undergraduate students from universities across Shanghai gathered to present their graduation research, showcasing their scientific training, academic expression, and research potential in the fields of chemistry and chemical engineering.
Four undergraduate theses recommended by the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering(SCCE) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University(SJTU) won two Grand Prizes and two Second Prizes. SJTU was recognized as an Outstanding Organizing Institution, Prof. Chaoqing DONG as the Outstanding Organizer Award (Individual). The two Grand Prizes mark the School's best performance in the history of the competition, highlighting its high-level undergraduate cultivation.
The competition serves as an important platform for showcasing and exchanging outstanding undergraduate thesis work in chemistry and chemical engineering across Shanghai. Open to top graduating students in chemistry, chemical engineering, and related disciplines, participants are evaluated on thesis quality, research innovation, oral presentation, and defense performance. The event provides a valuable opportunity for students to present their research achievements, communicate with outstanding peers, and receive insights from expert reviewers.
