On December 27th, 2018, the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (SCCE) held the class meeting for international graduate students.

The class meeting was composed of five parts: Academic Integrity, Introduction to Postgraduate Education, Winter Holiday Notice, Sharing from Outstanding Graduates and Q&A.

The “Academic Integrity” part told the first-year PhD students to obey the examination rules and told the senior students to concentrate on scientific research and abide the academic integrity.

The “Introduction to Postgraduate Education” part introduced quality control system in the education of graduate students, including test contents, timetables and requirements of qualification test, thesis proposal, intermediate inspection and thesis defense. Students were told what to do if failing the test and that the requirements and management methods of international graduates are the same as those of Chinese students.

The “Winter Holiday Notice” part showed the starting and ending dates of winter holiday as well as the time and place of registration and scholarship signing. The students were also reminded of personal safety.

The class meeting of the 2018 fall semester for international graduate students of SCCE dropped the curtain in a harmonious atmosphere.
